I stayed in a king suite for the weekend with one other person. The space felt like we had enough room to leave our stuff and still move around. The bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was sort of small but private, I hate when hotels don't put the sink in the bathroom. Breakfast was free down stairs, hot food, nice variety. The pool has a door that anyone coming in the front door or going up to their rooms can look in, which is a little off-putting. Yes there is road noise from either side of the hotel, but at a certain time people are in for the night.

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety with some rotation of dishes. We really enjoyed our stay, especially thanks to the warm welcome from the front desk staffs.

Stayed for 3 nights with my family and we all had an amazing time. The staff members were friendly. The room was quiet, clean, but a little dark lighting wise. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with a variety to choose from and the amenities were good. It’s not too far from Portland, and a few minutes drive away from the town of Freeport. Would definitely recommend staying there.

This was a solid overnight stay and overall a good experience, especially for a quick business trip. Check in was smooth and welcoming. I unfortunately cannot remember the front desk agent’s name, possibly Michael or David, but he was excellent and made the process easy and friendly. At checkout, the woman front desk attendant had briefly stepped away, but once I called her over she helped me quickly and without any issues. There were a few minor drawbacks that kept this from being a full five stars. The area where I parked had ice in the morning, which made getting out a bit difficult and felt like something that could have been addressed earlier. Breakfast starting at 7am was also a bit late for business travelers. I had to leave right at 7 and was not able to take advantage of it, so an earlier start time would be appreciated. The room itself was comfortable, but the bathroom was very cold, which was noticeable first thing in the morning. While I generally do not mind highway noise and slept through most of it, there were moments when it was disruptive. Better soundproofing or heavier curtains could really help improve that. Overall, I will stay here again for short trips. With a few small improvements, this could easily be a five star experience.

Stayed here for one night when travelling from Bar Harbor to Boston. Very close to Freeport. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was included and very good. Didn't get a chance to use the pool. We had a room facing the parking lot, which was quiet. Free parking. I'd stay again

Following advice, we requested an odd-numbered room on the front side of the hotel, which proved to be a wise choice. The noise was nonexistent allowing our family of five to enjoy a peaceful and comfortable stay. From the moment we arrived, the check-in experience set a positive tone. The front desk gentleman was outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond, printing out a curated list of activities in Freeport and Portland, neatly stapled for our convenience. This thoughtful gesture made exploring the area effortless. Every interaction with the staff, from entering and exiting the hotel to passing the front desk, was met with warm smiles and waves, creating a genuinely hospitable atmosphere. The breakfast cook and other staff members we encountered were equally fantastic, contributing to the hotel’s inviting vibe. The hotel itself is in pristine condition, clearly benefiting from a recent renovation. Our studio suite was spacious enough for our family, offering ample room to relax. The modern design and cleanliness added to the overall appeal. The pool, while not lavish, was decent and a fun addition for the kids. The breakfast, advertised as continental, far exceeded expectations. While the eggs and sausage were of questionable quality, the variety was impressive. Options included cold cereals, waffle makers with batter, juices, milk, bagels, English muffins, blueberry muffins, yogurts, and coffee—an extensive spread for a hotel breakfast. Despite a busy dining area, a cheerful staff member kept everything well-stocked. The location is convenient, with a Thai restaurant and an exceptional, authentic Mexican restaurant across the street, plus other dining options nearby. Overall, our stay was delightful, thanks to the outstanding staff, well-maintained facilities, and thoughtful amenities. We highly recommend SpringHill Suites Freeport Brunswick for a comfortable and welcoming experience.

A year ago, this hotel was one of many I had to utilize as temporary housing due to a small disaster at my apartment. A great place to stay. It gave a warm comfortable home vibe and the staff was very hospitable. People complain about highway noise, but didn’t really affect me too much. The small conveniences such as just having a microwave was good.
